Jody Kallay
Jody is Swiss Psychosocial Counsellor, MA SGfB
and accredited ICF coach. Jody is a passionate trauma-informed counsellor and advocate for reducing mental health stigma, she is driven to transform connections through non-violent communication (NVC) and proactively supports young people and their families. Jody is also a MiSP teach .b mindfulness teacher. She incorporates her skills in both 1:1 private practice and in groups.
In additional, Jody also holds extensive experience in delivering event programmes within The Alps to international groups.

Karen Cowan
Karen is a Neurodevelopmental consultant, assessor and mentor. With a background of over 30 + years in teaching as a Specialist Teacher (PATOSS & Dyslexia Guild), SENCO, Access Arrangement Expert, and Assessor. Karen combines a wealth of professional experience and personal insights to support children, young people, adults, and their families. She is a passionate advocate for Neurodivergent individuals of all ages whose needs are not always visible.
Karen is a recognised training provider for the National Autistic Society and the Autism Girls Network (Board Member).

Laura Morton
Laura is a Special Educational Needs teacher and consultant based in Chamonix. A fully qualified teacher, she is also a specialist Emotional Literacy Support Assistant (ELSA) and a nurture-informed practitioner. She co-founded British Alpine Teaching Services, an organisation dedicated to supporting primary and secondary pupils within the French education system. As an experienced SENCO and Safeguarding Lead - Level 3. Laura helps families navigate the challenges of special educational needs and disabilities, offering clear, practical advice on school systems and strategies to help children thrive at home and in the classroom. Committed to celebrating neurodiversity and advocating for every learner, she works in partnership with schools and families to build confidence and create opportunities for all pupils to succeed.

Tom Goldstein
Tom brings extensive career experience in global business leadership. He now practices as a certified personal and professional leadership coach (ICF, PCC). He holds a master’s degree in psychology, and a PGDip in systemic behaviour change and well-being.
As a registered International Mountain Leader (IML), Tom delivers forest school activites and also sound meditations to his local community in the Alps.

Chip Colquhoun
Chip began storytelling professionally in 2007. He’s since performed in 10 countries, presented Traditional Tales for the Oxford Reading Tree online, performed regularly at Glastonbury Festival, and represented the Roald Dahl Story Museum on ITV. He also wrote the EU’s guidance on using storytelling in schools. He lives in the former Cambridgeshire residence of Samuel Pepys, England’s most famous diarist.

Charlotte Edelston (PhD)
With 20+ years of experience in the world of sleep as a clinician, a researcher and a coach, Charlotte now delivers high performance sleep support and strategy for athletes, teams, schools and events. Based in Chamonix Mont Blanc, France and working globally.

Claire Smith
As a teacher for 25+ years, Claire helped adolescents flourish personally and academically. She became a Psychosocial Counsellor for teenagers and adults, to provide deeper emotional support and better address each person’s diverse and individual needs; ultimately empowering her clients to flourish in all areas of their lives.
Claire is person-centered, trauma-informed, IFS practitioner. She employs a gentle, optimistic, non-pathologizing approach and aims to empower clients on their unique path to healing and growth.

Martyna Cattaneo
As an Emotional Literacy Specialist and Therapeutic Practitioner with over 12 years of experience in England, Martyna coaches young people to thrive emotionally, socially, and academically. Her work focuses on supporting those struggling with anxiety, social communication, self- confidence, emotional regulation . Martyna also specialises in Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA), helping students re-engage with learning and school life. Using creative approaches such as Drawing and Talking Therapy, LEGO®️-based Therapy, and emotional literacy coaching, she helps young people explore their inner world, express emotions safely, and build resilience. Martyna believes that with empathy, understanding, and the right tools, every young person can reconnect with learning, develop resilience, and rediscover their own sense of joy and belonging

Programme design
Lars Voellmy
Lars is a registered Social Worker in the UK and Switzerland (CH), with over six years’ experience in CAMHS, secondary education and residential care, supporting children and adolescents in a mental health crisis, with behavioural challenges and special educational needs (SEN). Lars holds a MSc in Attachment Studies.
